Dr. Nancy Garza began her career as an engineer, graduating from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science and Mechanics. She continued her education by earning a second Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Dr. Garza ultimately realized her true desire was to help people in a medical capacity. So, she attended James H. Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City, TN, where she earned her medical degree in 2002 and completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency in 2006. Moving back to her home in Maryville with her husband, son, and daughter in 2006, she began providing comprehensive OB/GYN services for women in Blount County. Dr. Garza is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology.
